Keitha Maggard-Jent (Wildfire)

Keitha Maggard-Jent (Wildfire); RockHouse Creek at Isom; Whitesburg, Kentucky. (Keitha’s family left the mountains of Eastern Kentucky and moved north in search of opportunity.)

“The mountains drew me back home like a moth to a flame. These mountains get in your blood that's where it stays.”

“My folks originally moved to Michigan for Dad to find work. Then he got hired by Pennsylvania Railroad and they lived in Indiana and then in Ohio. I was born in Covington, KY and spent all my summers here with my grandparents on my dads side. They had to drag me back to Ohio when school started cause I wanted to be here.”

W.V. Hill

W.V. Hill, Musician for the band, Foddershock; Clintwood, Virginia:

“Even when it seemed as if I didn't have a friend in the world I always had music. My guitar and music kept me company while growin’ up. Pick up an instrument and make it your friend... It'll always be there for you through thick and thin; during the good and the bad and will never let you down, even when it seems everybody and everything else has.”

Gage Parker

Gage Parker, "They call me Grouch when I'm on the road":

"I ditched my car in Chattanooga and I hopped a train to Bristol and now I'm here. Heading to New York, and after that I might go up to Canada but I'm really not sure because that's too much planning for the future. [Heading to New York to meet] my family... I've never met them before. I don't know. Can't really tell much after that. I try not to plan anything cause it takes too much time and I can't focus on what I'm doing now."
