Gabrielle, Here are the photographs. You need to choose 37 of them because the framer wanted a vertical and a horizontal so he could get started. So I have already printed two and they are not included here. Please choose based upon the photograph and how it conveys the meaning intended. As I tell my students, don’t let emotions or personal beliefs distract you from the task at hand. I would like to see at least one African American in your choices as well as young, middle aged and older included as well as women of all sizes. I see it as as diverse as we can possible make it. I would also like to see at least two vertical photographs based upon the wall space at the gallery. Also take into account images that the Artisan Center has used for promotion although I don’t expect you to choose all of those. That decision was made by them.
There are a few that have two images to choose from. Those begin with Meranda Ramey. Save all 37 choices and send them to me via Facebook Messenger. Let me know if you have any questions. Also give me a timeline as to when to expect your choices so I can let the framer know when to expect prints. Also know that every single lady here will be presented on a big screen TV video synced to Ron Short’s song, “Beautiful.”
